Description:	About a Civil War widow who married a black sea captain and followed him to Grand Cayman Island. This was very interesting especially since I had never read about what it was like to be a poor white person during the Civil War. It was also interesting to read about all the racism on the part of the Union supporters. Sometimes it was frustrating because its all based on letters so there's a lot of conjecture, but I still found it very interesting.
