It is a nice trend, though I hear it makes for even more culture shock when we sheltered North Americans venture to smokey old Europe. Maybe they’ll start following suit…

Wow! That is really great news. My mom always gets very angry about people smoking where they’re not supposed to, and that kind of rubbed off on me. My partner and I are not smokers, and although we can handle it – I attend leather events where there is smoke – we much prefer not to be around it at all. Sometimes there is no room available at a hotel except a smoking room, and we can’t handle that – but now we will be turning to Marriott first!
